Michael Timmins  graduated from DIT in 1999 with an Honours degree in Fine Art (Printmaking) he joined the Black Church Print studio the same year where he worked as studio technician for several years. In 2007 he traveled to New Mexico to take part in the Renowned Tamarind Institute  printer training programme gaining a professional printer certificate upon completion. 

He has exhibited widely both in Ireland and abroad and his work can be found in collections such as Dept. of Energy and the Environment, Office of Public works, BT Ireland, Dublin Dental Hospital. His work is in many private collections. 

Group shows include Primary Colours Sligo Art Gallery Feb 2010; Tomorrow is today, Original Print Gallery October 2009; 179th Annual Juried Show Royal Hibernian Academy May 2009. 

Michael Timmins is a member and director of the Graphic Studio Dublin he is also a member of Black Church print studio.
